1. Go to the today screen and top on the small bluetooth icon at the bottom right corner of the screen, a pop menu should appear and select bluetooth manager as shown below and then tap the “new” icon at the bottom left corner of the screen then the “explore a bluetooth device” screen is highlighted, tap on next
2. At this point it should search for the gps device and the big bluetooth icon on the upper left corner of the screen should be spinning until it finds the device, if it isn’t spinning , tap on the icon beside view at the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap the BTGPS icon or whatever yours is called, then spp slave should appear on the next screen. Tap the spp slave , it will be highlighted, then do a next
3.It should come up with your bluetooth gps icon, tap finish. At the bottom of the screen that appears tap on “Tools”, a popup menu should appear select paired devices
4. Select add, then on the Device Pairing screen, tap the search icon beside the device box
5. Select the gps device on the bluetooth browser screen and it will be entered in the the device box, then add the passcode usually 0000 for most bluetooth gps devices then tap ok
6. If everything went on fine, you should see the gps device on the paired devices screen, tap ok. You should be back to “My Shortcuts” on the bluetooth manager screen. Put your stylus on the gps icon a popup menu appears, select connect
7. You should finally see the icons on the gps device showing the devices are connected and that is it for pairing your gps with your pda.
