Holux gpslim 236 bluetooth gps receiver review

The Holux gpslim 236 is a pretty compact bluetooth gps receiver, It measures 46.3 by 67 by 19 mm, isn’t that small?  It is also very light that you can put in your pocket and forget it. It uses a sirf star III chipset hence you can be guaranteed of it’s extreme sensitivity.  It picks up signals right from the middle of my living room, an attribute of the sirf 3 gps chipset.

Looking at the holux gpslim236, It has three lights on the top, a red one that flashes to indicate a gps fix, a blue one for bluetooth and the third yellowish light that signals low battery warning.  it has an on-off switch on the side as well as a socket for an external antennae , something I doubt you will ever need due to the sensitivity of the gps receiver.
